Saturday is shaping up to be another big day for the stable, with a four-pronged attack headed by a new look Femminile set to contest key Eagle Farm features.
We will also saddle up four runners at Caulfield, including Twin Perfection in the Listed Bel Esprit Stakes.
Last start G1 SA Derby winner Femminile will tackle the G1 Queensland Derby with some new attire after being purchased by Yulong for $1.5 million at Tuesday&rsquo;s Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale.
The daughter of Dundeel, who has drawn superbly in barrier nine, worked nicely on Tuesday morning and should prove ultra-competitive with Tim Clark aboard. 
Another key contender is the low-flying Regal Azmon, who will get a chance at adding another Group 3 to his resume when he steps out in the Lord Mayor&rsquo;s Cup over the 1800m.
We expect Regal Azmon to produce another blistering final sprint and figure prominently in the finish with Craig Williams in the saddle. 
The&nbsp;Bennett Racing pair of Stay Focused and Zaszou, who have secured the services of Ethan Brown, will take their place in the G3 Fred Best Classic and Listed Helen Coughlan Stakes respectively.
While Stay Focused hasn&rsquo;t missed a beat since arriving in the Sunshine State he will be required to overcome a tough draw if he&rsquo;s to secure a third win on the bounce.
The Helen Coughlan sets up for Zaszou to run a big race after she savaged the line with intent to finish within a length of Group 1 grade gallopers Commemorative and Lady Laguna at her last start in the G2 Sapphire Stakes.

We&rsquo;re hoping the step out to a mile can see I Am Velvet bounce back to form in Race 5 while Zebella will present fourth up in the second race on the program. 
Saturday&rsquo;s Morphettville meeting also holds a great deal of interest for the stable with Harmonic Dancer set to make his debut in the opening event on the program after two dominant trial victories.&nbsp;
Bred by Tommy Stokes and raced in partnership with great stable supporters in Brett Dixon and the MacLean family, and their fellow connections, Harmonic Dancer will carry the same silks worn by impressive debut winner Ground Control at Sale on Wednesday.
We will be represented by a further six runners at Morphettville, including Swettenham Stud&rsquo;s Palm Of Jumeriah in Race 5 and promising 3YO Noetzie in Race 8.

Prancing Spirt&nbsp;secured a well-deserved victory for the team at&nbsp;Fulmen Park&nbsp;in the final event at&nbsp;Caufield&nbsp;with hard-working apprentice&nbsp;Hannah Edgley&nbsp;in the saddle.

Zebella&nbsp;is our sole runner at&nbsp;Flemington&nbsp;on Saturday and will be partnered by&nbsp;Hannah Edgley&nbsp;when she steps out over&nbsp;1200m&nbsp;in&nbsp;Race 3, while&nbsp;Cheval Chic, who was slated to tackle the same race, will head to&nbsp;Adelaide&nbsp;to contest a&nbsp;1400m&nbsp;event&nbsp;(Race 5)&nbsp;that she looks superbly placed in.

Stokes Racing heads into this Saturday&rsquo;s Goodwood Handicap meeting attempting to secure the &lsquo;South Australian Group 1 Grand Slam&rsquo; after OTI Racing and Simon Delzoppo&rsquo;s Femminile took out the G1 SA Derby.
The daughter of Dundeel&nbsp;brought up the stables eighth Group 1 victory and fifth since Mr Quickie's triumph in the 2019 Queensland Derby.&nbsp;
With a Sangster Stakes, the Australasian Oaks and now the SA Derby sitting in the trophy cabinet our attention turns to the time-honoured Goodwood Handicap after Stretan Angel came agonisingly close in last year&rsquo;s edition.
Again, we will saddle up Stretan Angel, and Climbing Star, last year&rsquo;s third placegetter. However, the well-weighted 2023 Everest hero Giga Kick stands in our way. While the ever-consistent Stretan Angel is yet to see the winner&rsquo;s stall since the 2023 G2 Danehill Stakes we are confident our three-time Group 1-placed daughter of Harry Angel can give Saturday&rsquo;s race a real shake with the right luck in running from the inside peg. &nbsp;&nbsp;
Lachy Neindorf will jump back aboard Stretan Angel while Tom Stockdale is set for his first raceday ride on Climbing Star in what will be her final start for the stable before being offered at the upcoming Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale. We believe Climbing Star can bounce back here third up from the soft draw, barrier three, after running below expectations at her last start in G1 Sangster Stakes.

Pelevecchio is primed to run another big race when she steps out in trip to contest the G3 SA Fillies Classic after powering through the line to finish within 3L of Benagil in a brutally run edition of the G1 Australasian Oaks. &nbsp;
The daughter of Arrowfield&rsquo;s Castelvecchio, who is bred to see out the 2500m journey, has worked up nicely at home leading into Saturday&rsquo;s race and can certainly get the job done if Lachy Neindorf produces another peach from the inside draw.
We are hoping Regal Azmon and Arran Bay can fight out the finish once again, this time at Group 3 level, after running the quinella when they clashed under handicap conditions on Sangster Stakes Day.
Both horses haven&rsquo;t missed a beat since their last start efforts and map to get superb runs from barriers six and seven respectively. Capitalist filly Shocap is ready to make her debut for Neil and Sue Dunn in the G3 David Coles Stakes off the back of some pleasing trial performances, which most recently saw her finish in behind older horses, including Singapore stakes performer Lim&rsquo;s Saltoro at Moe last Monday.
While Steel Trap, from the Clarken and Macgillivray yard, looks extremely hard to beat we believe Shocap can measure up to this grade from the good draw, barrier three. Last start winner Beauty Rising will need to overcome a very sticky gate if she&rsquo;s to take out the last race on Goodwood Day, as will Fulmen Park&rsquo;s Prancing Spirit, who himself has drawn the far outside barrier in the final event at Caulfield.

Stoked! Group 1 Grand Slam

Supersire Dundeel has his second G1 South Australian Derby winner and his first female G1 winner after his courageous daughter Femminile was too good for the boys at Morphettville on Saturday in the time honoured 2500m Classic.
Femminile becomes the ninth G1 winner for Dundeel &ndash; her Derby triumph coming at her tenth lifetime start and is her first ever win on a good track, though she had turned in two strong performances in the G3 Auraria Stakes and G1 Australasian Oaks that said the &ldquo;mudlark&rdquo; tag did her talents a disservice.
Femminile never went around a horse tailing Statuario all the way. At the 600 Goldrush Guru had made a midrace move to lead and Allen moved Statuario out to commence his run while Femminile darted through beneath him and burst to the front, as a brave Goldrush Guru finally tired and Lavalier went past him.
Statuario was winding up with a vengeance but he was too far out of his ground to catch Femminile who was just as strong to the line.
In the last 100m Lavalier was all out of gas but hung on gallantly for third as Femminile passed the post three quarters of a length clear from Statuario, who lost no fans with his mighty effort. Scintillante (Savabeel) put in a very honest run for fourth.
Femminile&rsquo;s career earnings now advance to $660,185 and she has fulfilled a long held dream for her fine trainer Phillip Stokes becoming his first SA Derby winner, although he was not on track with son Tommy Stokes on hand to savour the win.
&ldquo;We&rsquo;re just so proud. This horse has been prepped up an absolute treat leading into today. Full credit to the team at Pakenham and Morphettville, it&rsquo;s a big operation now. The team puts in a lot of work, mum and dad, she spends a lot of time on the farm there,&rdquo; Tommy Stokes said.
&ldquo;She&rsquo;s just been prepped up to a tee, and the back up really suited, stepping up in trip. We were doing a bit of a rain dance before today, but she didn&rsquo;t need it. Lachie gave her an absolute peach. It was quite an effortless watch in the end. I&rsquo;m just very proud, especially another winner for OTI being a Group One, it&rsquo;s really special.
&ldquo;We just can&rsquo;t wait to celebrate. It&rsquo;s a shame Dad&rsquo;s not here, but I&rsquo;m sure he&rsquo;s super proud.&rdquo;
Femminile signalled her talent with a devastating win at two years in the Listed Oaklands Plate 1400m. That race was also won by last year&rsquo;s SA Derby winning filly Coco Sun &ndash; something to keep in mind for the future!
At three she showed staying ability from day one and raced competitively against the best of her age in the Melbourne Spring.
A third in the G3 Ethereal Stakes 2000m at Caulfield saw her attract supporters in the VRC Oaks, but that proved a bridge too far for the filly in her first real preparation.
This time around Stokes had her peaked to perfection for the Derby assignment at her fourth run in.

Femminile upstages boys in the G1 SA Derby

While it&rsquo;s a quieter Saturday from a runners perspective we will still have&nbsp;Group 1&nbsp;representation with&nbsp;Femminile&nbsp;set to contest the&nbsp;SA Derby&nbsp;at&nbsp;Morphettville.
The&nbsp;OTI Racing-owned filly will back up into the&nbsp;2500m&nbsp;feature after staying on to finish only three lengths behind high-quality galloper&nbsp;Benagil&nbsp;in the&nbsp;G1 Australasian Oaks.
Lachy Neindorf&nbsp;has been booked to ride and will partner the daughter of&nbsp;Dundeel&nbsp;from barrier four.
We will saddle up a further six runners across the card at Morphettville on Saturday. Our ever-consistent sprinter&nbsp;Shirshov&nbsp;heads to&nbsp;Caulfield&nbsp;in superb form after a tough third placing against quality opposition in the&nbsp;Discovery&nbsp;at&nbsp;Echuca.
Shirshov maps to get a lovely run up on speed from barrier three and is well weighted relative to race favourite&nbsp;Oak Hill, who has only just had his measure in their last two outings against each other.
Regal Bloodstock&rsquo;s Twin Perfection&nbsp;resumes in the same race after two nice trials and will be partnered by&nbsp;Tom Stockdale&nbsp;from barrier seven.

Stoked! SA Derby Day

Saturday is shaping up to be massive day for the stable in&nbsp;South Australia, with a total of&nbsp;13 runners&nbsp;at&nbsp;Morphettville, headlined by our sprinting stars&nbsp;Stretan Angel&nbsp;and&nbsp;Climbing Star&nbsp;in the&nbsp;G1 Robert Sangster Stakes.
While both horses have had very different campaigns this time in the team couldn&rsquo;t be happier with their condition leading into the&nbsp;1200m&nbsp;feature.
Stretan Angel, who was last seen finishing a brave fourth in the&nbsp;G1 William Reid Stakes, had a tick over trial last Tuesday and will be partnered by&nbsp;Tom Stockdale, with the pair both in pursuit of maiden Group 1 glory.
Lachie Neindorf&nbsp;will stick with&nbsp;Qatar Bloodstock&rsquo;s Climbing Star&nbsp;after our reigning Sangster winner resumed with an eye-catching placing behind&nbsp;Asfoora&nbsp;in the&nbsp;G3 Irwin Stakes.
Our staying fillies are all on track for the&nbsp;G1 Australasian Oaks&nbsp;after training on since their lead up runs in the&nbsp;G3 Auraria Stakes.
Arrowfield&rsquo;s Comanche Miss, a second-up winner of the&nbsp;Listed Clare Lindop Stakes, was forced to settle a long way back in the&nbsp;Auraria&nbsp;after drawing the carpark, and is set for an improved showing from a softer alley.
Pelevecchio&nbsp;couldn&rsquo;t have been more impressive in the&nbsp;Auraria&nbsp;working through the line with intent after flopping out of the gates.

Sweethearted, another exciting sprinter who dons the lime and navy&nbsp;Maclean&nbsp;silks, presents third-up over&nbsp;1200m&nbsp;in a high-quality edition of the&nbsp;G2 Tobin Bronze Stakes.
The son of&nbsp;Brave Smash, who had nothing go right at&nbsp;Bendigo&nbsp;last start, has the turn of foot and natural ability required to run over the top of his rivals given he is within striking distance on straightening.
The ever-consistent&nbsp;Athanatos&nbsp;rises in trip again after a brave placing in last fortnight&rsquo;s&nbsp;Listed Port Adelaide Guineas.
While he is yet to step out to the&nbsp;2000m&nbsp;we are confident Athanatos can put in another bold showing for&nbsp;ATB&nbsp;and their fellow connections when he contests the&nbsp;G3 Chairman&rsquo;s Stakes&nbsp;against a quality field of stayers, headed by&nbsp;Goldrush Guru.
We will saddle up debutant&nbsp;Obucci, an impressive&nbsp;Balaklava&nbsp;trial winner, and the&nbsp;Brook&nbsp;family-owned&nbsp;Damelli&nbsp;in the&nbsp;G3 Breeders&rsquo; Stakes&nbsp;for the juvenile fillies.
Damelli made late ground in the&nbsp;Dequettiville&nbsp;to finish sixth and will appreciate the extra furlong on offer while Obucci&rsquo;s natural speed can hopefully see her offset the sticky gate,&nbsp;barrier 10.
Stable stalwart&nbsp;Arran Bay&nbsp;and the talented&nbsp;Regal Azmon&nbsp;are both more than capable of kicking the day off in style when they contest the opening event on the program.
Regal Bloodstock, who we have had great success training for in recent years, have a red-hot chance in Regal Azmon, a galloper who has an affinity for the mile with four wins from seven attempts.
He gets in superbly at the weights,&nbsp;54kgs, and from the gun draw,&nbsp;barrier 6, should get every chance at success third up.&nbsp;Arran Bay, another distance specialist presents third-up but will be required to lump&nbsp;62.5kgs.

The daughter of&nbsp;Written Tycoon&nbsp;has pleased since her last start performance and should prove competitive dropping back to a distance where she boasts three wins and a second from four attempts.
The enigmatic yet ultra talented&nbsp;I Am Velvet, Race 4, rises in grade and distance in search of back-to-back victories after a strong first up success at&nbsp;Sandown&nbsp;over&nbsp;1200m.
Our&nbsp;ATB-owned daughter of&nbsp;I Am Immortal&nbsp;is thriving this campaign and has come through that last run in top order. Drawn well in&nbsp;Barrier 6&nbsp;she finds herself in a very winnable&nbsp;F&amp;M Bm78. We&rsquo;re looking forward to unleashing another&nbsp;OTI Racing-owned import in&nbsp;Highland Bling&nbsp;&ndash; a lightly raced gelding who makes his first start for the stable over&nbsp;1800m&nbsp;in&nbsp;Race 3.

Still lightly raced with clear upside, he&rsquo;s an exciting staying prospect for the future.
